Niccolò Parri is an internationally recognized Pediatric Emergency Physician with advanced training in Pediatric Intensive Care, combining a strong clinical background with leadership in education and research. He currently serves as Vice President of the European Society for Emergency Medicine (EUSEM) and sits on the Board of the European Trauma Course Organization, reflecting his long-standing commitment to advancing emergency and trauma care across Europe. He was also a founding board member of the European Society for Emergency Pediatrics (EUSEP), EUSEM’s pediatric branch society, helping to shape its early vision and mission.

Dr. Parri is widely regarded as a key opinion leader in point-of-care ultrasound, with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development at local, national, and international levels. His educational work places a particular emphasis on pediatric acute care and ultrasound training in low-resource settings, supported through collaborations with Global Health initiatives.

He works at the Pediatric Emergency Department and Trauma Center of Meyer Children’s Hospital IRCCS in Florence, Italy, where he is actively involved in frontline clinical care, teaching, and research coordination. As the physician responsible for research activities within the pediatric emergency department, his main scientific interests focus on point-of-care ultrasound, pediatric trauma, and acute pain management. He is the author of numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals and has contributed to two national guidelines on pediatric head trauma.

A highly sought-after speaker, Dr. Parri is regularly invited to international and national conferences and has delivered lectures and faculty teaching at more than 50 scientific meetings worldwide, bridging clinical excellence, research innovation, and impactful medical education.
