Dr.Adriana Yock-Corrales M.D. MSc. is a Pediatric Emergency Physician from Costa Rica and Clinical Chief of the Emergency Department at the Hospital Nacional de Niños “Dr. Carlos Saenz Herrera” in Costa Rica. She did her Pediatric Residency at the National Children’s Hospital in San Jose and in 2008 went to Melbourne, Australia where she did her Pediatric Emergency Fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital. On 2012 she did a Master in Epidemiology Applied to Health Science at the National University in Costa Rica and in 2016 a Diplomat in Toxicology at the Universidad Católica of Chile. She currently is part of the teaching committee of the Emergency/Pediatric Residency Programs. She is Co-Chair of RIDEPLA (Red de Investigación Pediátrica  en Latino America) and involved in research studies with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Since 2014, she is part of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine SIG of IFEM. She is the International Affair Lead of the Asociación Costarricense de Médicos Emergenciólogos(ASOCOME) and part of the Executive Committee of the  Pediatric Emergency Latinamerica Society (SLEPE).
