Dr. Erik R. Su is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and a cardiac intensivist at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. He specializes in cardiac critical care for both pediatric and adult congenital heart disease, with advanced training in neurocritical care, resuscitation, and cardiovascular intensive care. Dr. Su is passionate about critical care ultrasound and imaging, serving as co-chair for the AAP’s Section of Emergency Medicine Point‑of‑Care Ultrasound in Pediatrics (2023–2026) and as a founding contributor to the Pediatric Research Collaborative on Critical Ultrasound (PeRCCUS). He leads educational programs domestically and internationally and serves on multiple editorial and committee boards including Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Pediatrics, Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, PLOS One, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
