Daniel Nishijima, MD, MAS is Professor of Emergency Medicine at UC Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, California. He currently serves as Vice Chair of Research in the UC Davis Department of Emergency Medicine and co-Principal Investigator for the NORCARES hub within SIREN (adult acute care clinical trial network) and the PRIME node within PECARN (pediatric acute care research network). His research foci include the management of traumatic and neurological emergencies in pediatric and adult patients. He has received numerous federal grants and has published over 120 research articles.
